What was the food highlight of your year?
My wife Allie and I just had dinner at L2o which sadly closed on New Year's Day. It was an amazing experience...the creativity, deliciousness, incredible service and wine...the whole shebang was above and beyond our expectations.
What was the music highlight of your year?
Outkast get back together and owning this year's Lollapalooza, then getting to cook for them and their crew afterwards.
Was there a moment when food and music came together in a memorable way?
I was lucky enough to be part of Matt Pryor's "nothing to write home about" podcast last month which was super fun. I think it we were able to showcase the relationship between food and music and also how the kitchen/restaurant tends to have a punk rock sensibility to it.
